Matrix acidizing is a well stimulation technique in which a treatment fluid is injected into the critical matrix at pressure below the fracture pressure to dissolve the reactive minerals or damaging materials, thereby restoring or enhancing the near-wellbore permeability. The matrix treatment fluids are engineeringly formulated to: (1) react selectively with target minerals or damaging materials (2) minimize potential precipitations (cause further damage) (3) maintain the fluid stability at reservoir conditions (4) Protect downhole tools or equipment from corrosion.

EcoAcid® - Single-phase Retarded Acids for Carbonate Stimulation
-
Single-phase retarded acid (EcoAcid) is an advanced fluid technology tailored for carbonate acidizing and acid fracturing treatment, addressing the limitations (costly, hazardous and complex operations) of conventional acid systems such as emulsified acids and gelled acids.
