October 13, 2025 — PT Energi Mega Persada ( referred to as“EMP"), Indonesia's third-largest oil and gas exploration and production company, has dispatched a high-level delegation to visit the headquarters of OPT Petroleum Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "OPT"). This visit not only underscores the continuation of their long-standing strategic partnership but also marks a new phase in deepening technological collaboration and global market expansion between the two companies.

As longstanding partners, EMP and OPT have successfully collaborated on multiple oil and gas projects in Indonesia. Through its local wholly-owned subsidiary PT OPT Oilfield Services, OPT has continuously provided EMP with professional and efficient cementing services, covering full-process solutions including cement slurry formulation design, onsite operational support, quality monitoring, and troubleshooting. With consistent service quality and rapid response capabilities, PT OPT has become a trusted core service provider for EMP’s operations in Indonesia.

Against the backdrop of rising global energy demand and an accelerating industry transition toward green and low-carbon development, this high-level exchange focused on key topics such as technological innovation, operational efficiency improvement, and sustainable development. Mr. Aziz, Vice President of OPT’s Asia-Pacific region, and Mr. Wang Yong, Vice President for the Middle East, warmly welcomed the EMP delegation, reaffirming their appreciation for past cooperation achievements and expressing strong intentions to further expand the scope of collaboration and explore new partnership models.

During the visit, the EMP team conducted an on-site inspection of OPT’s Research & Development Center, gaining comprehensive insights into the company’s technical strengths in cementing operations under complex geological conditions and advancements in environmentally friendly cement additives. Both parties held in-depth discussions on challenges related to cementing in high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT) wells, deepwater wells, and unconventional reservoirs.

Mr. Aziz stated: “We warmly welcome the EMP team to the OPT headquarters. Our collaboration with EMP has spanned multiple project cycles, and the professionalism demonstrated by the PT OPT team in cementing operations has earned high recognition from our client. This trust, built through real-world experience, forms the strongest foundation for deeper cooperation. Going forward, we will continue leveraging our localized service network and technical expertise to help EMP enhance drilling and completion efficiency and safety.”

The EMP representatives highly praised OPT’s advanced testing and validation capabilities, rigorous quality control systems, and the professional competence of its field service teams. They particularly emphasized that PT OPT has demonstrated outstanding adaptability and reliability under dynamic operating conditions, fully meeting international oil companies’ stringent requirements for HSE standards and operational compliance.

This visit not only highlights OPT’s robust capabilities as a global energy technology service provider but also reflects EMP’s strategic commitment to integrating advanced technologies and optimizing operational performance. In the context of a rapidly transforming global energy landscape, such deep, trust-based cross-border corporate collaborations are becoming a vital force in driving knowledge sharing, technological integration, and sustainable development across the industry. OPT looks forward to joining hands with more partners to create a sustainable future for the energy sector.
