DIG ® - Effective Water Shut-off by Delayed Inorganic Gel

Typical Properties and Field Applications

DIG technology was commercialized in 2022 successfully and has been applied in various oil and gas fields in the world. Fluid properties are listed below and it has been proved to be effective in the following conditions:

Temperature:
BHST 77‑300°F (25‑149°C)
Mix‑water:
Fresh water
DIG gelation time:
Controllable
Gel syneresis:
≤10%(7days)
Treatment:
Water coning in producers, fingering of high‑perm streaks, injector thief zone
Further information about field jobs is described in documented “Case History of DIG Technology”.

Precautions and HSE Considerations

DIG plugging agent (KWC001), Mid-temperature activator (KWC002), and high temperature activator (KWC003) in DIG systems play the most important role in DIG treatment design.

The laboratory procedures, quality assurance program and guidelines for field mixing and handling of DIG systems are described in DIG fluid manual.

Refer to the technical sheet and SDS of the respective product for the health, safety and environmental information of each product.
