ResDrill® - High Performance Reservoir Drill-in-Fluids

Typical Properties and Field Applications

ResDrill is effective in treatment of reservoirs with the following conditions:

Temperature stability:
up to 275°F
pH:
7.5‑9.5
Density:
8.9 ppg to 16.5 ppg
Weighing:
Carbonates, heavy brines

Precautions and HSE Considerations

In the ResDrill system drilling fluid, the Viscosifier is crucial for performance, which can improve cuttings‑carrying capacity, maintain proper pressure, and control the fluid loss of drilling fluid; the Fluid Loss Control Additive effectively controls API and HTHP fluid loss; the Shale Stabilizer enhances overall inhibition performance, making the inhibitory property of the ResDrill system drilling fluid far superior to conventional water-based drilling fluids; the Bridging agents are used in ResDrill system to bridge across the pores and micro fractures of the formation rock in order to minimize the fluid loss and potential formation damage. ResDrill reservoir drill-in fluid systems deliver superior retained permeability compared with oil based mud.
