UniFrac® - Guar Replacement Fracturing Fluids

Typical Properties and Field Applications

UniFrac technology was commercialized in 2010 successfully and has been applied in various oil and gas fields in the world. It has been proved to be effective in treatment of sandstone and carbonate reservoirs with the following conditions:

Temperature:
  BHST 65-300℉ (18-149℃)
Typical gel loading:
  5-15 gal/Mgal
Mix-water:
  Fresh or salt water

Further information about field applications is described in documented “Case History of UniFrac Technology”.

Typical properties of UniFrac fluids are shown in the following Table and Figures.

Precautions and HSE Considerations

Gelling agent (KHF071), Crosslinker (KHF048) and Breaker (KHF043) in UniFrac systems play the most important role in treatment effectiveness. In addition, clay stabilizer (KHF002L) and flowback additive (KHF007S) are generally used in UniFrac systems for better fluid performance.

The laboratory procedures, quality assurance program and guidelines for field mixing and handling of UniFrac systems are described in UniFrac fluid manual.

Refer to the technical sheet and SDS of the respective product for the health, safety and environmental information of each product.
